Mindfulness based Anger Management: Soles of the Feet: a mindfulness-based self-control intervention.
Our emotions greatly influence our thoughts, speech, and actions and that, at times, although they can help us in pursuit of transient pleasures and gratification, however, some emotional states are highly destructive and damaging to our health, well being and relationships with the world.
Our mindfulness based anger management workshop is based on enabling individuals to develop a mindfulness-based, self-control strategy during the arousal state of destructive emotion such as anger.
Individuals are taught to recognize and understand impact of anger upon their physical body, mental state and clarity, recognizing emotional state triggers, cultivating awareness of arousal states and developing skilful means of employing mindfulness based self-control strategy.
